3B Survey was engaged by Inpex in 2019 to conduct a few small-scale brownfields surveys. This relationship has since grown & now we service all Inpex facilities across the Ichthys project, largest of those being the BCM Module fabrication and installation.

3B Survey is engaged by Woodside to provide dimensional control surveying and laser scanning services for the fabric/maintenance contract on its all of its fixed offshore facilities. We are also employed through a number of EPC sub contractors to provide survey services on these assets.

3B were engaged by Chevron in 2013 to assist in the installation and pipe fabrication of 3 new gas compressors at an onshore terminal. Following the success of the project, our work has expanded to the survey and fabrication of several upgrades & shutdown projects on offshore facilities around the world. To date we are still involved in the majority of projects Chevron carry out on these facilities.

3B Survey was engaged by Vermilion in 2016 to provide dimensional control surveying and laser scanning services for various fabric maintenance and operations works on the Wandoo B and Wandoo A platforms.

3B Survey were engaged by Shell in 2019 to work alongside Technip on various projects on the Prelude FPSO Facility. Our expertise and strong relationships with other clients led us to be the preferred surveyors for all survey works carried out on Prelude along with future development design works.

3B Survey were first involved with Esso in 2009, when it became apparent there was no dimensional control provider operating in Bass Strait. We have recently been awarded the contract to help our client (UGL) with the offshore decommissioning programme, installing a variety of lifting and clamping arrangements to aide the removal of several facilities as they reach end of life.

3B Survey was engaged by Clough to provide comprehensive civil surveying services for Waitsia Gas Project Stage 2, one of Australia’s largest onshore gas fields. 3B commenced work in 2021 with project completion expected by late 2024.

3B was awarded the contract to provide auditing survey services to Tianqi for their new build Lithium plant in Kwinana. The client extended our services to include site control survey. Control pillars were established, coordinated and updated on a regular basis, listings were then provided to other survey contractors.
