What is Dimensional Control?
Dimensional Control Surveying is the technique and science whereby 3-Dimensional spaces are accurately measured to determine the area between points, creating digitally mapped distances and angles.
Dimensional Control surveying has been used for decades around the world in some of the largest shipbuilding and offshore fabrication facilities.
Dimensional control exists primarily because of safety, reducing the need for ‘hot work’, but also because it is highly accurate and saves time and costs during expensive shutdowns and maintenance periods.
