Background

3B Survey were engaged by Shell in 2019 to work alongside Technip on various projects on the Prelude FPSO Facility. Our expertise and strong relationships with other clients led us to be the preferred surveyors for all survey works carried out on Prelude along with future development design works. We have established a good relationship and we are now heavily involved in the upcoming Crux Project.

Services

A survey team of 2 people from our Perth office look after this project. We only use highly accurate Leica Total Stations along with the latest Leica RTC360 Laser Scanners.

Overall dimensional control support for maintenance and modification surveys.
Dimensional Control surveys on all fabrication pipework to ensure a first time fit.
Like for like replacement pipework.
Piping fabrication Red line markup drawings.
3d Laser scanning and survey services for new crux project tie ins.

Outcome

Our client has continued to engage 3B Survey due to our quality of work. We produce fast and reliable results that ensure first time fit for replacement spools with no reworks. We have a great safety record with no LTI’s recorded. The client relies on 3B Survey to work self-efficient on various scopes of work.
