Maintenance and Modification Contract – Offshore Victoria

In 2009 3B Survey were awarded the contract to perform all offshore and onshore survey works for the continuing maintenance and upgrades of all major pipelines and associated structural elements. Piping detail surveys are carried out to an accuracy of 0.2mm, thereby guaranteeing first time fit-up of all new components, saving vital time during scheduled shutdowns and maintenance periods. Further to this, we were also recently awarded the contract to design and supply all new piping Isometrics and structural drawings, completed from our Melbourne office.

Scope of works:

• Survey all existing lines and supports, including any potential clash items
• Produce 3D CAD model from collected data
• Design new pipework, supports etc and overlay for clash checking
• Produce fabrication Isometrics and structural drawings
• Complete all in-house design and integrity checks
• Update all current P&ID’s to reflect new designs
• Carry out as-built surveys on newly fabricated items to ensure conformity
